Orbix Technology and SKILLKAMP bring Data Wallet to enhance digital experiences for Thai youth in the ODOS Summer Camp program

Orbix Technology and Innovation, in collaboration with SKILLKAMP, has been given an opportunity by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) to develop a Data Wallet system for issuing and storing digital educational certificates (Digital Certificates) for youths participating in the ODOS Summer Camp (Summer Opportunity Camp), covering two cohorts. This reflects the potential of Thai-developed digital services that can be applied in real-world use cases in a concrete manner.

Mr. Pisit Kulkanchanachawin, Managing Director of Orbix Technology, stated that the company was selected by depa to develop a pilot Data Wallet system for the ODOS Summer Camp project. The system was designed to enhance standards in educational data management and certification by making information more reliable, accurate, and secure. It also enables faster, more convenient, and more efficient verification and validation of data.

The Data Wallet system applies Quarix blockchain developed by Orbix Technology to issue certificates in the form of Verifiable Credentials (VC), an international standard for digital credential verification. Users are able to access, store, and share their data efficiently with strong security, and verification can be performed through a web application called “Q-locket.”

In addition, a Web Portfolio platform has been developed to track learning activities, mission results, and participant development, along with an Interactive Hall of Fame to showcase achievements, works, and experiences of participants in the program. The system aims to promote structured digital learning records, support knowledge exchange, networking, and expand long-term educational opportunities sustainably.

Mr. Pisit further stated that Orbix Technology believes digital technology plays an important role in enhancing learning and creating new opportunities for Thai youth. Receiving this opportunity from depa to develop the system is seen as a way to showcase the potential of Thai digital services and represents another important step in elevating educational credentialing through blockchain technology. This helps build trust in the authenticity of data, reduces the risk of forgery, and improves transparency and efficiency in verifying digital evidence.

Moreover, the system helps upgrade the country’s digital data management infrastructure to international standards, enabling interoperability with other systems in the future. This will enhance efficiency in managing educational data at the national level and serve as a key foundation for developing digital talent and Thailand’s digital economy in the future.
